Three Dollar Bill

Dine-in and takeaway
Three Dollar Bill is a unique pizza place in Merseyside that offers Detroit-style pizzas. The name is a nod to when Detroit went through a recession. They had a community script, meaning they could only use community currency in three-dollar bills in local businesses to help the economy.
The restaurant offers deep pan pizzas with “cheesy chewy” edges called a “cheese crown”, which take 24 hours to prepare following a traditional American recipe. The restaurant takes its pizza-making seriously and is committed to providing high-quality food. Every pizza is crafted using fresh and locally sourced ingredients where possible, ranging from wild mushrooms to burrata cheese.
In addition to the pizzas, you can indulge in various sides, such as garlic and parsley tater tots, fried chicken, and chopped salads. In the daytime, a cafe-style menu offers hot drinks, cakes and delicious sandwiches. The restaurant also offers a selection of frozen cocktails, including margaritas and French martinis.

Hoylake Lights Wetherspoon

Value for money deals
The pub has a rich history; the name of this establishment pays tribute to the historic upper and lower lighthouses, collectively known as the Hoylake Lights, constructed in the 1760s. Although only one of the lighthouses remains standing today, their legacy lives on through the pub’s name.
In 1871, the pub’s location was nothing more than an open field. However, by 1897, it had become home to a draper’s and a chandlery. Subsequently, the site saw the establishment of a dyer’s, a cleaner’s, and even a “complete funeral furnisher” nine years later. The Co-operative Society was the last to occupy these premises before transforming into the Hoylake Lights.
Today, Hoylake Lights is a pub operated by JD Wetherspoon. The pub serves many drinks, including real ales, craft beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, and various non-alcoholic options. Food is also available throughout the day until 11 pm, with a menu including breakfast, pub classics, burgers, salads, and desserts. The pub also has a children’s menu and vegetarian and vegan options.

The Hut Hoylake

Wirral’s first Sri Lankan restaurant
The Hut is another of Hoylake’s newest spots! Which has received brilliant reviews since opening. Here, you can try flavoursome and unique Sri Lankan dishes. It was founded by Gayan and Shanika, who moved to Wirral with their three children in 2021. They aim to introduce the people of Wirral to the best cuisine Sri Lanka offers.
At The Hut, the food is made with only the freshest ingredients, the spices are sourced from the fields of Sri Lanka by Shanika’s father, and the recipes are passed down from her late mother. From Devilled Corner (a delicious dish that packs a punch of flavour) to Beach Combo (Casava wrapped and baked in banana leaf with coconut)
In addition, The Hut is the first eatery in Wirral to introduce “Hoppers,” a type of rice flour pancake that’s filled with curry and topped with sambol and chutney.

It’s just a minute from the promenade and is an ideal stopping place after a walk and quality time enjoying the company of friends and family.
