If there’s one thing Liverpool does well, it’s bottomless brunch—and Bamboo on Bold Street is totally worth the hype.
Trust me when I say my girls and I have done the rounds when it comes to bottomless brunch spots in Liverpool. After hearing countless recommendations about Bamboo on Bold Street, we finally decided to see what all the fuss was about—and it did not disappoint. It’s safe to say we’re already planning our next visit. Here’s my full review of our bottomless brunch experience at Bamboo in Liverpool.
Bamboo, Liverpool, bottomless brunch review
Bamboo on Bold Street offers bottomless brunch, lunch, cocktails, Sunday roasts, and free venue hire. It first caught my eye after my Instagram feed became flooded with dreamy pancake stacks and perfectly plated smashed avo—basically brunch goals.

I was immediately impressed. One of my friends had been called into work and was running late; the other was also running late (thanks, Merseyrail!). So I was flustered when I arrived alone on a busy Saturday, aware that I didn’t want to take up time and space for 3. But honestly, the girls here could not have been any more accommodating. They were kind and understanding, letting me wait for my friends with a drink and start brunch a little later.

From the moment you step inside, Bamboo feels like a mini escape. Think tropical greenery, neon signs, and a playlist that makes you want to order a cocktail before sitting down. The vibe is unapologetically fun—perfect for a Saturday with friends, a celebration or even a date night. The space is much more intimate than other places I’ve visited for bottomless brunch in Liverpool, but I loved this. It meant the service was attentive, and I felt loads more relaxed than in other venues.
Bamboo, Liverpool, bottomless brunch menu
The bottomless brunch here is 90 minutes of unlimited Prosecco, Aperol spritz, bellini, mimosa, wine, beer, cider & virgin pornstar. The best thing about this brunch is that you can choose any item from the menu, such as bagels, smashed avo, poached eggs, hash stacks, a full English breakfast, Shakshuka, and any pancake or French toast. The portions are enormous, too, so you won’t leave hungry like other brunch spots!

I opted for their Classic Benny, hollandaise, bacon, and poached eggs, one of my favourite brunch dishes. My friend went for the hash stacks, a potato onion rosti stack, diced potatoes, peppers, roasted chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta, smashed avocado, poached eggs, and a shot of chilli honey, which she said was incredible. I was a little jealous!

You can also pay a supplement for other menu items or more cocktail options, but we didn’t feel we needed to. The bottomless brunch was £40 each, which we think is fantastic value for a full-sized menu item and unlimited drinks. We each had four drinks, and could have easily fit in a 5th.
It’s clear Bamboo isn’t just relying on the bottomless drinks to carry the experience—they’re also putting effort into the food!
Okay, what about the drinks?

The main reason most people book a bottomless brunch is the drinks. Bamboo offers a solid selection; their only rule is that you have to have finished your drink before ordering another. Staff were quick with the top-ups (a big win), and the drinks were good—none of that watered-down nonsense you sometimes get at bottomless brunches. My personal favourite? Passionfruit bellini or, of course, the Aperol Spritz.
Great service and a fun, relaxed atmosphere

The staff here were wonderful, from making me feel at ease when I arrived alone to not rushing us at all and being attentive and friendly. It was the highlight, to be honest, as so many other bottomless brunch experiences can leave you disappointed with the service.
We were given the full 90 minutes to sip, snack, and have a really lovely girls’ afternoon. The music was loud but not overpowering—enough to give the place energy without having to shout across the table.

Bamboo’s bottomless brunch combines great food, flowing drinks, and a fun atmosphere. It’s also great value considering the quality and generous selection of drinks. We went before visiting the theatre to start our night, and it really added to the entire night out. Would I go again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? 100%. Just make sure to book ahead!
